For the third week in a row, we are being given the strong message that now is a time of dream building and working with our Divine life purpose. This week, I was guided to work with the "
Life Purpose Oracle Cards" by Doreen Virtue, driving home this important message.
The week begins with "Strength," and the message that we are strong enough and brave enough for whatever lies ahead. The angels are reminding me strongly of the story of the "Wounded Healer." In this story, the centaur Chiron is wounded by one of Hercules' poisoned arrows. Being an immortal creature, Chiron cannot die from the poisoning, so spends meany years suffering the effects of the poison. This suffering teaches Chiron about true empathy and compassion, allowing him to become not just a doctor treating illnesses and ailments of others, but a true healer who was able to have compassion and understanding for the pain of those who saught his healing skills.
The angels tell me, "Everything you have experienced and endured in your past has been for a purpose. You are like the wounded healer, who has learned true empathy and compassion through the suffering you have gone through." We are now being called upon to use these gifts in the service of others, in accordance with our Divine life purpose.
The angels also bring to me this quote:

In the middle of the week, we are given the message that we are free to make whatever choices we desire in our lives. We are not victims of fate or passengers along for the ride in our lives. We are where we are today because of the choices we have made in the past. If we are unhappy with that place, we are free to make new choices that will take us to a new, more fulfilling place. The message I am receiving from the angels is to release any blame or victim mentality you may be holiding on to. Life didn't just happen to you. Now is the time to take responsibility for the choices you have made so that you can move forward into a positive future.
As the week draws to a close, we are given a respit from the hard emotional work we have been doing all week long. The angels have chosen to fill this weekend with flowers and bring the message that it is very important to get out in nature or go somewhere you can experience the beauty of flowers. This could mean visiting a flower shop and purchasing a flower just for you, getting a masssage using floral essential oils, lighting flower scented candles in your home or looking at pictures of your favorite flowers. The angels tell me, "Flowers are powerful healing beings, able to ground and clear negativity and uplift your mood."

Monday, January 23rd and Tuesday January 24th: Strength
"Everything you've experienced in your life has made you strong and courageous."
You're stronger than you realize, according to this card. Your career dreams require inner resolve and courage, and you've built those qualities from your life lessons. Everything you've ever experienced has brought you to this moment, and you're more prepared than ever to start a new project and persevere to complete it.
It's human nature to shy away from projects that are perceived to be difficult or that bring up fears of failure. Nonetheless, these projects are calling your name. Whether you're guided to write that book, change careers, return to school, start your own business or present your artwork to the public, you have the strength to do so!
Which path do you think will lead to greater joy: taking steps in the direction of your dreams (even if you're unsure whether the dream is viable or whether you're taking the right steps to achieve it) ... or endlessly procrastinating? Which path will ultimately be more painful to experience: risking defeat or humiliation by taking action ... or playing it safe?
Wednesday, January 25th and Thursday, January 26th: Freedom
"You're free do do what you choose."
This card is a gentle reminder that you aren't a victim of outside circumstances and that you have choices in everything you do. The angels are helping shift you away from complaining that you're a victim of others who control you. Instead, Heaven is shining the light upon your wise decision to take responsibility for yourself, your life and your happiness.
As you accept the role you've played in creating your present circumstances, you feel a corresponding sense of relief and freedom. The insight of self-responsibility frightens some initially, as it seems to carry the weight of blame. The angels help you see that blame is a waste of time becasuse it focuses upon past events. Instead, they empower you to envision a bright today and tomorrow for yourself and your loved ones.
You have the right to change your life! You needn't wait for another's permission to take charge of your destiny. Trust your feelings to guide you toward activities and a career that are meaningful and fulfilling in every way.
Friday, January 27th to Sunday, January 29th: Flowers
"Working with flowers opens your heart and brings blessings to others through your life purpose."
This card signifies your special connection to flowers, whose fragrance, color and beauty provide healing blessings. As you grow, admire, photograph and work with blossoms, so too does your connection with the Divine "blossom." Your affinity for flowers is just beginning, and spending time among them will help every part of your life bloom.
You may literally work with flowers - for example, as a gardner, florist or flower essence healer. Or it may be that spending personal time with these lovely features of the natural world speaks to your creative ideas and a new career path.
So, whether your relationship with flowers is destined to become a career or an avocation, spend time with them today. Walk through a flower shop and notice which color bloom you're drawn to. This flower holds healing properties that you need right now. If possible, take it home and spend time absorbing it's color and fragrance. Trust the flower's wisdom and power to help you upon your life purpose pathway.
