Restriction

Today The Spider and the Restriction marker warn that we may have become trapped in our own web. This can happen when we become bored or stuck in a rut in our lives, mindlessly going through the motions of living day after day. Alternately, we may be have become stuck in the mud because we have been working ourselves to the bone and the Universe has decided to give us a period of enforced rest. In either case, the solution is the same. Take time to care for yourself. Rest. Recharge. Sleep late. Get a massage or go to a spa. When you stop fighting the flow of energy, things will become easier for you. Once you are ready to move on, the blocks will release you. In the meantime, take a good look at your life and see what needs to be changed so that you don't wind up here again!

This marker brings motice of restriction in all things. You are in a prison of your own making or are at the mercy of that which is temporarily out of reach. You aren't able to move forward constructively at this time.

Be patient, pay attention to the next right action and sooner than you know, the prison doors will swing open and you will yet again proceed to the greater goal. For now, take this opportunity to rest, taking stock of where you are and from where you've come. Ask, "How did I get here?" "What am I not seeing?" "What needs repairing?"

Once answers come, so does relief from the bondage of circumstances and mind.
