Talk About Your Feelings

Sometimes, the hardest thing to do is tell another person how we feel - especially if we are holding negative emotions that involve that person. It's much easier to simply say, "I'm fine," and then move on with your life. But, the unicorns remind me that this is unhealthy behavior that can have dire consequences later on. In her book, "Heal Your Body," Louise L. Hay lists many, many physical ailments - from sprains and strains to cancer - and the mental and emotional causes for these forms of dis-ease. Releasing negative emotions and blocks can eliminate many of the physical issues we face. This is a strong message that now is the time to deal with any negative, toxic emotions you are still carrying around. This may mean having a conversation with or writing a letter to the person who you are holding these feelings toward, journaling your feelings, or even talikg to a qualified professional. Whatever you need to do, the unicorns and angels tell me that now is the time to do this work. You need to clear away your past so that you can move on into a much brighter future!

"Tell a friend how you feel."

This card means that you've been holding some feelings inside and need to let them out. When you talk or write about your feelings, you understand them better. Sometimes you don't know how you really feel until you begin talking.

It's not healthy to hold in your emotions, especially anger or sadness. Find a trusted person who will listen to you, such as a friend, family member or teacher. Let that person know that you need to talk and tell them what you need. For instance, if you want them to listen without giving you advice, then let them know. If you want them to comfort you, let them know.

If you don't have someone to talk to, or your feelings are so private that you don't want to share them out loud, you can write about them. You can also silently talk to your angels or the unicorns. They'll listen to you with love and will help you feel better and find answers.

Forecast for January 30 to February 5

As I begin this week's forecast, I must first apologize for it's extreme lateness. I suffered a knee injury last week and have had great difficulty getting to the computer to complete readings and get things posted. Thankfully, I'm on the mend and finally getting caught up!

This week, I was guided to use my new "Magical Unicorns Oracle Card Deck" by Doreen Virtue. This is a truly beautiful and magical card deck and it was a true pleasure to work with it!

As we begin the week, our message is one of forgiveness. The unicorns and angels send the strong message that in order to move forward on our life path, we must release past anger and hurt. Holding on to these feelings and experiences only tie us to those events, holding us in that place forever. Forgiving allows us to cut the cords and set ourselves free.

Many people resist the act of forgiveness because they have been taught that to forgive is to say, "What you did to me is okay." The angels remind me that this is anything but the case. We all know that there are certain things that will never be okay, no matter what. What we must realize is that forgiveness is not saying that what happened in the past is okay - it's saying, "I release myself from this pain and suffering. I no longer allow you to chain me here in these memories. I release you and I move on without you."

The hard emotional work we have been doing eases up as we enter the middle of the week and are given the message that our goals and dreams are "Worth Waiting For." This is the strong message that all the hard work we have been doing in healing ourselves as well as in working toward our goals, dreams and Divine life purpose is going to be rewarded. The angels tell me to "... expect the best and know that your reward will be even better!"

The week ends with the wonderfully uplifting message of "Definately Yes!" Whatever it is that you have been wondering or worrying about, know that it is already taken care of. Your prayers have been heard and answered and help is on it's way right now! Do not waste your time and energy on fear and worry. Instead, focus your thoughts, words, writing, visualizations and actions on being positive. Your faith, hope and trust will be rewarded!

Monday, January 30th and Tuesday January 31st: Forgive

"It's time to let go of anger or blame."

Are you blaming someone or something? Are you feeling angry? This card tells you that blame and anger are holding you back. Blame takes away your power and gives it to the other person. You have a lot of power, and one way to feel it is by letting your anger go. You don't need to forgive the other person's actions if they really hurt you, but you do need to stop seeing that person as an enemy because this anger is toxic to you and your body.

You know that happy thoughts make your life happy. Well, angry thoughts can bring more anger into your life. The unicorns know that this isn't what you want, so they ask you to give your anger to them and to your angels. Being free of anger and blame gives you more power and energy and makes you feel happy.

Are you mad at yourself for some reason? If so, this card means that you need to forgive yourself. You can learn from your past and grow much stronger by letting go of anger toward yourself. You can do this by understanding WHY you acted as you did. You probably had a good reason for your actions at the time. Now, after thinking about it, you may wish that you had acted differently. But regrets aren't helpful unless they help you learn.

Everyone is learning as they go through life, even adults. Do your best to understand this and you'll be able to let go of anger toward yourself and others. This is what it means to forgive.

Wednesday, February 1st and Thursday, February 2nd: Worth Waiting For

"Your patience will be rewarded."

You know what you want and you've been waiting for it. This card means that your patience is about to pay off! Soon, you'll have what your heart desires. It will most likely be better than you expect.

Everything happens at the perfect time and this is why you need to wait. You had lessons to learn and other people had to be ready as well. Now, everything is set and you'll find that your prayers have been answered. All of your patience and hard work will now be rewarded.

For now, keep your mind focused on what you want and don't think about any fear in any way. If you become afraid, then ask your angels for help. You need to keep the faith.

What you want is worth waiting for. Instead of settling for something that's "good enough," youll now hoave the best. You DESERVE the best!

Friday, February 3rd to Sunday, February 5th: Definately Yes

"The answer to your question is a strong 'Yes'!"

What you're asking about will definitely happen, provided you keep your thoughts positive. You can bring about your desires more quickly by paying attention to thoughts, feelings, words or visions that repeat themselves to you. When this inner guidance asks you to take positive action, it's important for you to do so. For instance, if you have strong feelings to call a certain person, then make that call. Your angels will always guide you to actions that have positive and healthy effects on you and others.

Spiritual Teacher

Today's message from the angels is that we are all spiritual beings who have chosen to have a physical life here on Earth in order to learn new lessons - and in order to teach others what we have learned! Many of us who are here today are actually the spirits of Incarnated Angels, Starpeople from other worlds, Wise Ones who walked the world in ancient times or members of the Fairy Realm who have opted to incarnate into physical bodies. In her book, "Earth Angels," Doreen Virtue says that you will know if you are one of these special souls if:

Today's dual messages of "Strength" and "Children" are sending me the strong message that we are meant to spend some time using experiences from our own childhoods helping the children of today. This could be through volunteering with a youth organization, through spending more time talking to our own children about our childhood experiences, through writing or blogging, or through sharing our story with others. You never know when your own experience can act as a teaching tool for others.

Alternately, I am being given the message that this may be a time for you to spend some time nurturing your inner child. This may mean taking conscious steps to heal past hurts or learning to love yourself unconditionally as you are right now. Sometimes dealing with these kinds of past hurts can be incredibly hard. The angels advise you to call on them for help and support as you work through this process and also advise that seeking a qualified professional is not a sign of weakness - allowing someone to help us through difficult times is a sign of strength and wisdom.

Forecast for January 23 to January 29

For the third week in a row, we are being given the strong message that now is a time of dream building and working with our Divine life purpose. This week, I was guided to work with the "Life Purpose Oracle Cards" by Doreen Virtue, driving home this important message.

The week begins with "Strength," and the message that we are strong enough and brave enough for whatever lies ahead. The angels are reminding me strongly of the story of the "Wounded Healer." In this story, the centaur Chiron is wounded by one of Hercules' poisoned arrows. Being an immortal creature, Chiron cannot die from the poisoning, so spends meany years suffering the effects of the poison. This suffering teaches Chiron about true empathy and compassion, allowing him to become not just a doctor treating illnesses and ailments of others, but a true healer who was able to have compassion and understanding for the pain of those who saught his healing skills.

The angels tell me, "Everything you have experienced and endured in your past has been for a purpose. You are like the wounded healer, who has learned true empathy and compassion through the suffering you have gone through." We are now being called upon to use these gifts in the service of others, in accordance with our Divine life purpose.

The angels also bring to me this quote:

In the middle of the week, we are given the message that we are free to make whatever choices we desire in our lives. We are not victims of fate or passengers along for the ride in our lives. We are where we are today because of the choices we have made in the past. If we are unhappy with that place, we are free to make new choices that will take us to a new, more fulfilling place. The message I am receiving from the angels is to release any blame or victim mentality you may be holiding on to. Life didn't just happen to you. Now is the time to take responsibility for the choices you have made so that you can move forward into a positive future.

As the week draws to a close, we are given a respit from the hard emotional work we have been doing all week long. The angels have chosen to fill this weekend with flowers and bring the message that it is very important to get out in nature or go somewhere you can experience the beauty of flowers. This could mean visiting a flower shop and purchasing a flower just for you, getting a masssage using floral essential oils, lighting flower scented candles in your home or looking at pictures of your favorite flowers. The angels tell me, "Flowers are powerful healing beings, able to ground and clear negativity and uplift your mood."

Monday, January 23rd and Tuesday January 24th: Strength

You're stronger than you realize, according to this card. Your career dreams require inner resolve and courage, and you've built those qualities from your life lessons. It's human nature to shy away from projects that are perceived to be difficult or that bring up fears of failure. Nonetheless, these projects are calling your name. Whether you're guided to write that book, change careers, return to school, start your own business or present your artwork to the public, you have the strength to do so!

Which path do you think will lead to greater joy: taking steps in the direction of your dreams (even if you're unsure whether the dream is viable or whether you're taking the right steps to achieve it) ... or endlessly procrastinating? Which path will ultimately be more painful to experience: risking defeat or humiliation by taking action ... or playing it safe?

Wednesday, January 25th and Thursday, January 26th: Freedom

This card is a gentle reminder that you aren't a victim of outside circumstances and that you have choices in everything you do. The angels are helping shift you away from complaining that you're a victim of others who control you. Instead, Heaven is shining the light upon your wise decision to take responsibility for yourself, your life and your happiness.

As you accept the role you've played in creating your present circumstances, you feel a corresponding sense of relief and freedom. The insight of self-responsibility frightens some initially, as it seems to carry the weight of blame. The angels help you see that blame is a waste of time becasuse it focuses upon past events. Instead, they empower you to envision a bright today and tomorrow for yourself and your loved ones.

You have the right to change your life! You needn't wait for another's permission to take charge of your destiny. Trust your feelings to guide you toward activities and a career that are meaningful and fulfilling in every way.

Friday, January 27th to Sunday, January 29th: Flowers

"Working with flowers opens your heart and brings blessings to others through your life purpose."

This card signifies your special connection to flowers, whose fragrance, color and beauty provide healing blessings. As you grow, admire, photograph and work with blossoms, so too does your connection with the Divine "blossom."
